STUDIO RENTAL AGREEMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER

1. Rental Terms & Studio Use

- Studio rental includes use of furniture, props, lighting, and backdrops.

- Setup and breakdown must occur within the rental time.

- Studio must be returned in the condition it was found.

- Renter agrees to leave the studio clean, dispose of all trash, and return the key to the keypad.

2. Overtime Policy

Renter agrees that staying past their reserved time will result in an additional fee of $37.50 per 15 minutes, billed in 15-minute increments.

3. Damages & Responsibility

Renter assumes full responsibility for any damage to studio property, gear, backdrops, furniture, or the facility itself during their rental. Damages will be billed at the full repair or replacement cost, plus a 15-25% coordination fee if needed.

4. Liability Waiver

Renter releases Kalehua and all representatives of Paradise Crush Studio from liability for any personal injury, equipment damage, or property loss incurred during their use of the space.

5. Rescheduling Policy

Please note that cancellations are NOT permitted, and studio rentals are NON REFUNDABLE. However, we do allow one (1) opportunity to reschedule your studio rental, subject to availability.

To reschedule, renter must notify the studio owner at least two (2) days, or 48 hours, in advance of his or her original scheduled rental time. Requests made after this window may not be accommodated.

6. Liability Waiver

Renter releases Kalehua Kaiawe (owner) and all representatives of Paradise Crush Studio from liability for

any personal injury, equipment damage, or property loss incurred during their use of the space.

Refund Policy *

By checking this box, I acknowledge that cancellations are NOT permitted, and that once the session is booked, it is considered NON-REFUNDABLE.

By checking this box, I acknowledge that this session is back to back and I will arrive at least 10mins early before my scheduled time.

STUDIO GUIDELINES

Mahalo for renting the studio! Please help us keep this space clean, welcoming and professional for everyone.

✅ PUNCTUALITY

• Please arrive on time or preferably at least 10 minutes early before your scheduled rental time. This allows for proper check-in, setup, and ensures your session starts on time.

⏰ OVERTIME POLICY

• Studio time is scheduled and reserved in advance. If your session exceeds your reserved time, a fee of $37.50 per 15 minutes will apply (billed in 15-minute increments). Please respect the next guest’s time.

✅ OPENING & SETUP

• AC remote is located under the AC unit on the white stand. Turn on the AC as needed.

• Rented gear should be set up on the backdrop in the center of the studio. If it’s not there or you need help, please reach out.

• All furniture and props in the studio are available for use. Feel free to move and arrange them for any concept.

✅ BACKDROP CARE

• Clean feet and clean shoes only on the paper backdrops.

• No dirty feet or outdoor shoes without wiping them first.

✅ DURING YOUR SESSION

• You are welcome to move and use any studio furniture or props.

• Please treat all equipment and props with care.

✅ CLEANING UP

• Take all trash with you. We do not provide trash cans in the studio.

• Clean any mess you make. Mālama the studio for the next guest.

✅ BEFORE YOU LEAVE

• Turn oﬀ the AC, the slave flash trigger / lighting, and all studio lights.

• Check for all personal belongings.

• Lock the door securely.

• Return the key to the keypad.

⚠ Failure to return the key to the keypad will result in a $50 fee for replacement.

🛠 DAMAGES & CLEANING FEES

Clients are fully responsible for any damages to studio equipment, furniture, walls, backdrops, or props during their session. Fees will be assessed based on replacement or repair costs, plus a handling fee of 15–25% if applicable. Excessively messy setups may incur a $75 cleaning fee.

ADDITIONAL CLAUSE: BACKDROP USE & DAMAGE PROHIBITION

The Renter shall not, under any circumstances, cut, trim, tear, alter, modify, or permanently change any studio backdrop, regardless of its condition, age, wear, or appearance. This rule applies to all backdrops owned by the Studio, including paper, fabric, canvas, muslin, seamless rolls, custom backdrops, and specialty materials.

Any violation of this rule will be treated as intentional property damage and will result in immediate termination of the rental session without refund, a minimum damage fee of $____, plus the full replacement cost of the affected backdrop(s), and liability for any additional costs, including labor, downtime, and disruptions to subsequent rentals.

NOTICE — VIDEO & AUDIO RECORDING IN USE

This studio is monitored by video and audio recording for safety, security, and business use. By entering and/or using this space you acknowledge that you may be recorded and consent to such recording. If you do not consent, please do not use this studio.

Tampering with cameras or obstructing recordings is prohibited and may result in termination/fees.
